Our approach to basement ceiling insulation:
The cause: uninsulated basement ceiling
Heat from the ground floor escapes into the unheated basement through the uninsulated basement ceiling. This results in increased energy consumption and an uncomfortably cool floor on the ground floor.
01 Preparation
If necessary, the ceiling is prepared. Concrete grates are removed and any ceiling installations are dismantled where possible. The special insulation boards are cut to size for a perfect fit.
02 Assemble
The basement ceiling insulation panels have a decorative plaster surface and a tongue-and-groove connection around the edges. For ceiling installation, the panels are pressed together without thermal bridges.
03 Fasten
The ISOTEC basement ceiling insulation panels are mechanically fastened with concealed mounting clips. This means that it does not matter whether the existing basement ceiling surface is load-bearing or not.
Thin structure – Good insulating effect
The ISOTEC Basement Floor Renovation applies a coating system especifically developed to control the capillary moisture of basement floors. It acts as an effective moisture and steam barrier, of approximately 4 mm thickness or more. Therefore, the construction of a subsequent concrete slab is not necessary.
The advantages of basement ceiling insulation
ISOTEC cellar ceiling insulation is the ideal solution for owners who want to reduce their heating costs in the long term while improving their living comfort. In unheated basement rooms, a considerable amount of heating energy is lost through the basement ceiling. This is where the specially developed ISOTEC basement ceiling insulation panels come in. Thanks to their high insulating effect and thermal bridge-free installation, they offer effective protection against heat loss with minimal installation height.
Installation is clean and straightforward, meaning that the insulation can be used without any problems even in rooms with low ceilings. In addition, ISOTEC basement ceiling insulation scores points with its attractive, customisable surface, which is also visually appealing. Thanks to low-emission materials, it is an environmentally friendly investment with noticeable benefits: for the indoor climate, the energy balance and, last but not least, for your wallet.
